Celebrity Couple Expands Bay Point Footprint

Latin pop superstar Enrique Iglesias and retired tennis legend Anna Kournikova are continuing to grow their real estate footprint in one of Miami’s most prestigious neighborhoods—Bay Point. The celebrity couple recently added another property to their compound in the gated enclave, known for its waterfront estates and high-profile residents.

Details of the $6.5M Acquisition

According to public records, a company tied to Iglesias’ financial manager, Juan Carlos Sanchez, paid $6.5 million for a 4,350-square-foot home at 4570 Sabal Palm Road. The five-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bathroom house sits on a 0.3-acre lot and was sold by Francois and Sabrina Deeb. Built in 1957, the home is located at the corner of Buttonwood Lane and Sabal Palm Road.

A Growing Bay Point Compound

This latest acquisition brings Iglesias and Kournikova’s total holdings in Bay Point to about 2.5 acres. Since 2009, entities linked to the singer have spent a total of $21.5 million assembling multiple properties across the neighborhood, including vacant lots and homes built in the 1940s and 1950s.

Inside Their Waterfront Mansion

The couple resides directly across the street from their latest purchase in a lavish 19,233-square-foot mansion. Their primary residence spans 1.6 acres and features seven bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a tennis court, a large pool, and a private dock—offering a true waterfront retreat in the heart of Miami.

Real Estate Legacy Runs in the Family

Property assembly appears to be a family tradition. Enrique’s father, legendary singer Julio Iglesias, famously amassed real estate in nearby Indian Creek Island, a guard-gated community home to billionaires like Jeff Bezos and Carl Icahn.

Bay Point’s Real Estate Boom

Bay Point has recently emerged as one of Miami’s fastest-appreciating neighborhoods. Its proximity to the Miami Design District and Morningside, along with its privacy and security, have attracted affluent buyers. In early 2025, developer Fatos Rosenberg sold a 1.7-acre estate at 4445 Sabal Palm Road for $85.2 million—a record-breaking sale in the neighborhood. Other high-profile purchases include a $23.5 million home bought by Sara Colombo and a $13.4 million sale by former NBA player Goran Dragić.

A Strategic Investment in Miami Luxury Real Estate

As Iglesias and Kournikova continue to expand their holdings, their growing estate stands as a prime example of celebrity investment in Miami’s luxury real estate market. Their strategic acquisitions not only highlight the desirability of Bay Point but also underscore a long-term vision that blends privacy, lifestyle, and real estate savvy.
