Turkish developer Okan Group has officially opened EB-5 investment opportunities for its flagship U.S. project, Okan Tower Miami. The iconic 70-story, mixed-use high-rise located at 555 North Miami Avenue is already under construction and has reached its 31st floor, with completion expected by the end of 2027.
With the EB-5 designation, Okan Tower now allows foreign investors to finance the project while simultaneously qualifying for U.S. residency through the EB-5 Investor Visa Program.
What Okan Tower Will Offer
When completed, Okan Tower will be a landmark addition to Downtown Miami featuring:
- A 316-key Hilton hotel
- 236 condo-hotel residences managed by Hilton
- 163 private luxury condos
- 60,000 square feet of office space
- 80,000+ square feet of amenities
Designed by Behar Font & Partners, this world-class development is over 60% presold, with condo-hotel studios starting at $750,000 and luxury condos reaching $3.6 million, excluding penthouses.
EB-5 Investor Slots and Program Benefits
According to sales director Michael Sadov, Okan Group will release 30 EB-5 investor slots at a time. While the total fundraising goal has not been disclosed, the EB-5 program requires a minimum investment of $1.05 million.
In return, EB-5 investors and their immediate families can qualify for a U.S. green card, provided their investment generates at least 10 full-time jobs for U.S. workers.
Unlike traditional condo buyers, EB-5 investors are not required to purchase a unit in the project, making this an accessible path for foreign nationals looking to relocate to the U.S.
Why EB-5 Works Well for Condo-Hotel Developments
Projects with a hospitality component, like Okan Tower, are especially attractive for EB-5 investors because they create more jobs compared to standard condo developments. This makes them a stronger candidate for approval under the U.S. immigration program.
Other Miami EB-5 Investment Opportunities
Okan Tower isn’t the only Miami development offering EB-5 opportunities. Several preconstruction projects across South Florida are also attracting foreign investors seeking U.S. residency:
- Nexo Residences – A short-term rental-friendly development in North Miami Beach.
- ORA by Casa Tua – A Brickell condo-hotel tower by Fortune International Group.
- House by Shigeru Ban – A unique architectural project designed by the Pritzker Prize-winning architect.
- River District 14 – A vibrant residential tower in Miami’s riverfront district.
- Visions at Brickell Station – A modern condo-hotel project with prime access to Brickell and Downtown.
Miami Real Estate and EB-5: A Pathway to the U.S.
For international buyers, investing in projects like Okan Tower provides a twofold benefit: securing a stake in one of Miami’s most iconic luxury developments while also gaining a potential pathway to U.S. permanent residency.
With Miami’s real estate market continuing to attract foreign capital, EB-5 is becoming an increasingly popular solution for buyers looking to both relocate to the U.S. and capitalize on property investment opportunities.
